Free : 2013 OeAD Anniversary Grant for Researchers in Austria

OeAD initiates anniversary grant to celebrate its 50th anniversary. These grants are available for researchers from Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia and to conduct research in . Postgraduate and post-doc students from the field of social sciences, humanities and cultural studies are invited. The successful graduate and post-doctorate candidates will be granted 940 euros and 1040 euros per month respectively up to 4 to 5 months. The applications for this grant have to be submitted online by April 1, 2013. Study Subject(s): Grant supports non-European researchers who deal scientifically with the democratisation process.

Scholarship Description: To celebrate it’s 50th anniversary the OeAD initiates an anniversary grant, which will establish a strong connection to the founding history of the ÖAD. The ÖAD was founded as an association of the Austrian universities and was from the very beginning responsible for the support of international students in Austria who often also came from crisis regions. With the OeAD anniversary grant the OeAD sets socio-political priorities and shows its commitment to internationalization strategies. The grant is understood as an impulse and strives for the participation of other institutions and actors for funding. Duration of award(s): Grants are offered for  4 to 5 months with a clear focus on the democratization process in the Maghreb countries.
