Curtin University offers Richard Langham Memorial Scholarship for students. The scholarship is offered to study Bachelor’s of in the University. The scholarship will provide a cash payment of $1,500 per year for the first and second year, and $1,000 per year for the third and fourth year. -Financial hardship
-Be undertaking the 1st semester of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at Curtin University in semester 1, 2013.
-Received an ATAR of 90 or above
-Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or an Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa holder
-Be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported place Scholarship Open for International Students: Australian students can apply for this scholarship. Scholarship Description:  The Richard Langham Memorial Scholarship has been designed to assist students who may otherwise not have an opportunity to study a Bachelor of Pharmacy at Curtin University due to financial hardship. Number of award(s): One scholarship is awarded. Duration of award(s): Scholarship is offered for a maximum of 4 years. What does it cover? The scholarship will provide a cash payment of $1,500 per year for the first and second year, and $1,000 per year for the third and fourth year (based on full time study load of 100 credit points each semester), $5,000 in total, to assist with costs associated with studying (textbooks, incidental expenses etc) for a maximum of 4 years. Selection Criteria: 
Applications will be assessed by a selection panel using the following criteria:
-Demonstrated financial hardship
-Responses to the questions in the application
-Academic merit
-The scholarship will be awarded if there is a candidate of sufficient merit. Notification: All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via the official communication channel via Oasis within 4-6 weeks of the closing date. How to Apply: An applicant must submit a completed application form with supporting documents attached by 4:00pm on the scholarship closing date, to the Scholarships Office at the Bentley campus.
