Scholarship Provider: BMWF and J. William Fulbright Scholarship Board.
Scholarship can be taken at: USA Eligibility: Austrian citizenship (dual citizenship / inside [Austria-USA] may occur because of program policies are not included in the program.)
-Candidate/inside must have completed a first degree at an accredited university or college, or the time of application are nearing graduation.
-Bachelor Studies: Graduated by 1 September 2013.
-Diploma Studies: Graduated by 1 May 2014.
-Scholarships for university places cannot, for the candidates who have applied / inside outside the Fulbright Program, or ongoing studies will be awarded.
-Candidate / inside who are qualified on the basis of your previous academic and professional services to apply for a Fulbright Scholarship for scientists / inside are excluded from applying for the Fulbright Scholarship.
-Candidate / inside that had been a Fulbright Scholarship for students, a scholarship for postgraduate BMWF area (excluding internships), a Schrödinger (FWF), APART or DOC scholarship (AAS), are eligible for application. Simultaneous award of the above scholarships in conjunction with a Fulbright scholarship is not possible. Scholarship Open for International Students: The students with Austrian citizenship can apply for this scholarship. Scholarship Description: Austrians / inside, seeking a master’s degree in the United States are invited to apply for
-Previous scientific, artistic, social or political commitment
-Good academic performance (U.S. institutions considered in the admission grade point averages)
-Professional qualifications with regard to the creation of the study project.
-Career plans and planning
-Personal achievements and interests
-Justification of the study project
-English language skills and communication skills
-Submission of test results as required for admission to a U.S. university standardized tests.
-The GRE must generally be filed by all candidates / inside. Exception: If all researched programs at U.S. universities require no GRE (as usual at Arts programs) may, one of the candidates TOEFL result will be submitted as a substitute.
-Test scores must be from the testing organization directly to the Fulbright Commission (TOEFL code: 7517; GRE code: 4800): AND officially forwarded to the Institute of International Education in New York (2326 code for TOEFL and GRE). Notification: Announcement of the candidate / internal selection late June / early July 2013.
